Notes:
Purchased 2 boxes of rice with the same expiration date. I would have to create 2 separate product items if these boxes had different expiration dates. I can quickly do this using the clone option. Once I cloned the item I would only have to change the expiration date.
When I use 1 box I can easily change the qty to 1. I choose to receive an alert a month before because I have to use up 2 boxes.
